French training in Craniosacral Biodynamics

Discover our training in Craniosacral Biodynamics

Qualifying training, entirely in French, regularly organized by the association ” Entre deux mains” in the South of France since 2005

ASSOCIATION “ENTRE DEUX MAINS”
17 Lotissement Le Pérou
34380 ST MARTIN DE LONDRES

Under the supervision of International Institute for Craniosacral Balancing
(ICSB – Suisse)

And approved by the Association Française de Thérapie CranioSacrale Biodynamique (AFTCSB)

Training in Craniosacral Biodynamics allows in particular the acquisition and development of perception and palpation skills – so that the practitioner can perceive and listen to the subtle messages of the system expressed in the dynamics of the fluids, cells and tissues of the body., and engage in a conversation with them that respects the space and the needs of the individual.

It also includes sharing, movement practices, visualizations, and the practice of still or dynamic meditations.

In this sense, training not only teaches scientific, anatomical, clinical and practical knowledge, but also opens up a space for experience and personal growth.

Training content

(nb: the following description is indicative, because the teaching is alive! ..)

Seminar 1: Introduction to the Primary Respiration System and the “Breath of Life” principles

History and origin of Craniosacral Biodynamics. Discovery in particular of the teachings and concepts of W.G. Sutherland, the initiator of this approach.

Learning and practicing perceptual tools to listen to the manifestations of the Primary Respiration System, the “Breath of Life” – that breath that we can perceive as a tide in the fluids and tissues of the body, when we are centered.

How do we cultivate this practitioner centering and orientation towards Health and the underlying forces of Dynamic Stillness, as this is the basis of our practice.

Discovery of the different spaces encountered in practice. And what are the principles of biodynamics.

Seminar 2: the heart of the craniosacral system

Discovery of the midline structures of the human body, the various midlines, the spine and the dural sleeve, their embryological origins and dynamics. Importance and role of embryology in our approach.

With our presence and our touch, how do we help the system to regain its natural balance

Functional and structural relationship of the bone structures of the neurocranium and the reciprocal tension membrane, and observe how space is created through natural augmentation processes.

Deepening of our understanding of the processes of Stillness and of resources, with the “felt sense“.
Begin to find out what the treatment plan is in its manifestations of Neutrals – guided by the principles of the biodynamic approach.

Seminar 3: The craniosacral system and its connections with the whole body

While listening to the Primary Respiration System and its manifestations at the level of the fluid tide, how to orient oneself towards the neutral of the forces at work in the fluid body, and learn to support the system in its settling in a state of equilibrium.

Discovering biodynamic and biokinetic forces, and how they seek and find a state of balance: The three stages of Dr. Becker’s approach to healing at the fluid body Level.

Highlighting the connections of the whole body by working with the structures of the fascia.

Presentation of the Central Nervous System (CNS), and discovery of the basic function of the Autonomic Nervous System (ANS) and its self-regulation.

Perception of the different levels of stillness and orientation towards the treatment plan and the state of systemic balance.

Seminar 4: The cranial base and its dynamics, reflection of the whole body

Study of classical dynamics of bone structures at the cranial base, including the sphenobasilar joint – natural midline fulcrum – , occiput, sphenoid, temporals, and the Temporo-Mandibular Joint (TMJ).
Study of the relationship between the pelvis and the sacrum and the cranial base.

Continuing to discover whole body connections with fascia structures and introducing sacrum / occiput relationships.
Study of the occiput / atlas / axis triad.

Introduction of trauma resolution work.

Discovery of an invitation process to Stillness (CV4).

Deepening of our understanding of the inherent treatment plan.

Seminar 5: Facing the world, the face

Discovery of the structures of the stomatognathic system, the viscerocranium, the facial bones and the bony palate and how to support the resolutions of the inertial patterns retained in these structures towards a new equilibrium.

Deepening of our knowledge of embryology and integration into the biodynamic approach.

Meeting with the tidal body and the expression of the Breath of life in this body: the long tide.

Exploration of the space of the heart and its hub.

Discovering another process of invitation to Stillness (EV4).

Deepening our understanding of the unfolding of the inherent treatment plan

Seminar 6: the field of the long Tide and the ignition processes

Presentation of polyvagal theory and the Triune Nervous System.

Work with the motility of the Central Nervous System (CNS) and the ventricles.

Exploration of the 3rd ventricle (“minnow trip” by W.G. Sutherland).

A look back at the natural process of birth – and its importance in the unfolding of life.

Deepening of our perception of the body of the tides, with the expression of the long tide of Primary Respiration, as well as the phenomenon of ignition, expression of the whole.

Continuing to discover new listening positions in our patients’ system.
And always more sharing around the inherent treatment plan

Seminar 7: Integration

Continued exploration of trauma resolution tools.

Importance of communication. Tools available.

Deepening of our understanding of the integration of Craniosacral Biodynamics with the function of the nervous system.

Deepening of Stillness.

Reflection on the themes of ethics, hygiene, indications and contraindications of Craniosacral Biodynamics, and how to present our practice.

Inherent treatment plan.

Seminar 8: Revision and more….

General review of the concepts acquired.

How to set up and develop your practice.

Deepening of the practice and feedback sessions with the trainers.

Back to the original concept of the “Breath of Life” and how it intertwines with the universal forces of life.

Seminar 9: Certification

Feedback sessions with trainers.

Written examination and oral presentation of a personal article prepared in advance.

Certification and conclusion.

Who are the training courses offered for?

These training courses are generally intended for any body therapist, osteopath, physiotherapist, massage therapist, care provider or health professional wishing to develop their art of touch.

Certain in-depth seminars and post-graduate training seminars are reserved forpractitioners of Craniosacral Biodynamics who are already certified.

Others are aimed at Craniosacral therapists and osteopaths who want to discover or deepen the biodynamic approach.

Finally, other seminars more focused on the discovery of the technique can be reserved for a specific type of health personnel (midwives, etc.)
